Founded in 2018 by international award-winning tattoo artist Chauncey Kochel, better known as C.K., Von Striga was built to be more than just another tattoo shop. Inspired by retro 80’s and 90’s culture, arcade nostalgia, classic aesthetics, and timeless tattooing, Von Striga blends old school attitude with modern artistry to create a studio experience unlike anywhere else.

Located on Galveston Island, Von Striga has been voted Best of Galveston every year since opening and has grown into one of the premier custom tattoo studios in Texas. Our award winning team is made up of highly experienced artists, with most of our crew bringing 15 to 20 years of professional tattooing experience to the studio.

Unlike many studios, Von Striga focuses strictly on high quality tattooing. We do not offer piercings or piercing services of any kind. Our focus is, and always has been, creating exceptional custom tattoos and delivering artwork that is unmatched in the area.

Our studio proudly accepts both walk ins and appointments, though appointments are always recommended if you want to guarantee your spot with a specific artist.
